I ate a lot last night.  Hey, it was Valentine's Day.  We had heart-shaped meatloaf and potatoes dyed pink.  The green beans were dyed pink, too, but pink and green make, grink?  Since last year I had to watch the movie Valentine's Day for Valentine's Day (I was so lucky there were no hot pokers lying around to gouge into my eyes), I picked the movie this year.  I chose the A-Team.  Now that's a Valentine's Day flick!  Then I sliced up some cheese, summer sausage, smoked oysters, and got some crackers because that's always our romantic midnight snack.  Also, the Girl Scout Cookies came in today, so I downed some of those along with some chocolate ice cream.  Needless to say, I had some calories to burn off this morning.  And tomorrow morning.  Pretty much every morning for a couple of weeks now.

Time - 1:06:47

Splits - 8:34, 8:36, 8:37, 8:32, 8:36, 8:30, 8:34, 6:50 for 0.80 (8:34 pace)

Avg. pace - 8:34

Standard Deviation - 2.3 sec/mile

Median - 8:34

Mode - 8:34

Range - 7 sec

Variance - 5.3 s2

Probability of the 3rd mile falling within 1.8 seconds of the avg. pace with an 86% confidence interval - gonna need some help on this one, Bonnie.

You eat potatoes in Arizona? Thought that was just for us Idahohans. St. Patricks Day rolls around, try dying the spuds green. Looks disgusting. It resembles a green snot rocket.

From RAD on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 15:02:32 from 67.172.229.125

Sounds like a feast fit for a king and a queen! Glad you enjoyed it! Well, I wasn't too far off your pace today. I'm going to blame it on the wind...and that I got a few extra miles in :)

From Burt on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 15:25:16 from 206.19.214.144

Rye - I'm glad my food has been digested. I would have thrown it up after reading that.

RAD - I just crunched your numbers. Your standard deviation was 11 seconds. You need to be a bit more consistent ;)

From seeaprilrun on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 15:32:23 from 72.205.231.214

Your calories burning was well executed. You lost me after "average pace".

From runningafterbabies on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 16:00:10 from 24.10.211.135

Sounds like a lovely V-Day. Nice run at a clippin' pace. You have me by at least 3 min/mile probably more.

From Burt on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 16:06:54 from 206.19.214.144

April - I'm just trying to sound smart. Glad it worked. Hugs to your little girl.

RAB - Thanks. Even though you're 8 and a half months preggers, that makes me feel good.

From Lily on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 16:08:14 from 67.199.181.73

Betcha I ate more than you. Fatty Patty Mcgee

From Burt on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 16:16:02 from 206.19.214.144

Oh Lily, don't be so hard on yourself. There's nothing wrong with a little junk in the trunk. Just ask Kelli. (snicker snicker)

From RivertonPaul on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 17:04:40 from 67.42.27.114

Very romantic movie.

From ChrisM on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 17:43:50 from 217.171.129.77

you forgot the Persons product moment correlation coefficient, and I would like a principal components analysis

And I would like to make that large, with fries

Thank you sir

8.75 months pregnant, but who's counting?

From Burt on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 18:24:49 from 206.19.214.144

Paul - It had Jessica Biel in it. 'nuff said.

Chris - Oh no! The real world is destroying you!

Seth - Was this your first Valentine's as a married man?

From Bonnie on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 18:50:35 from 128.196.228.134

Probability of the 3rd mile being within 1.8 secs of the overall average is 0.014

The confidence interval thing doesn't have anything to do with anything.

pink green beans doesn't seem very romantic to me at all, but whatever floats your boat. Happy V day Burt!!

Joe - Do you really love the lamp or are you saying it because you saw it?

From DaleG on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 20:32:13 from 152.216.7.5

Mmmmmmm...Meatloaf.....Leftover meatloaf is even better.

From Derunzo on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 21:13:14 from 98.229.131.173

Nothing like a good meatloaf to show your love! Wait.... that sounds a little messed up??? Ha ha ha....

From Karen on Wed, Feb 16, 2011 at 01:45:36 from 69.171.160.251

Good to see that you are getting your math homework done, Burt. Great paces, by the way! you must be so pumped for your relay!!! you might accidentally PR in your 5k as well...

From The Quiet Pirate on Wed, Feb 16, 2011 at 14:43:54 from 152.26.59.252

I'm overwhelmed with all of those numbers.

I'm thinking meatloaf must make you really smart. Congrats.

From Burt on Wed, Feb 16, 2011 at 18:50:46 from 206.19.214.144

Dale - I had some leftover meatloaf for lunch today. It was pretty good.

Funzo - I know that joke and you told it wrong.

Karen - I love accidental PR's!

QP - Meatloaf is brain food.

From Burt on Wed, Feb 16, 2011 at 18:53:46 from 206.19.214.144

Bonnie - you have to admit, that's a real cool standard deviation. Not as cool as that time you rattled off 4 7:18's in a row, but pretty cool.

From nicole on Wed, Feb 16, 2011 at 23:35:46 from 67.170.24.135

Burt, everyone knows you need to use a 95% Confidence Interval! Geeeez.
