Finally I went running!  Oh Easter.  If only I could celebrate it the right way.  Instead I gorge on chocolate and Easter ham.  Et cetera.  Et cetera.  Anyway, I felt a little tight this morning.  Especially in the shins.  I wanted to average 8 min./miles.  Nailed it!  (Sung in a high pitched voice.)

Time - 23:58 (avg. pace 7:59)

Splits -

1 mile - 7:50

2 mile - 8:09

3 mile - 7:59

Finally some running Burt.

The girls, in your new pic, are they laughing at you?

=)

Probably. Those are the girls from mile 3 in my last race report.

No Argentine Rocket in D.C. Burt, this isn't a singles forum. LOL

I love the photo of you running over the London Bridge. You look strong.

Thanks, Rhett. And it's a lot better photo than my previous one, right? LOL!

Solid running fueled by chocolate and ham. GREAT WORK! I gorged on funeral potatoes myself, and actually stayed away from the chocolate!!!

From sam on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 17:36:54 from 90.201.147.25

Funeral potatoes is that when the spuds are dead?? sorry sounds weird, or is it the waker afterwards??

From Kelli on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 18:33:01 from 71.219.84.191

I wondered if some might not know what funeral potatoes were. I kind of think it is a Mormon thing, like green jello with carrots. Anyway, I love them!!!!!!
