I took my wife to this Scavenger Hunt/Run at Road Runner Sports.  We probably only ran about a mile.  But I knew she'd be a good partner because she's pretty good at this kind of stuff.  Especially because there's a Ross right next to RRS and she works at a Ross.  It was fun.  We demo-ed these Newton shoes.  That was not fun.  They probably take some getting used to, but they sure made my ankles hurt and the balls of my feet sore.

What did you find on the scavenger hunt? Sounds like Newtons are not for you.

There was a list of 20 things. We got 19 of them. The one we didn't get was us planking at a park that was over 1.5 miles away. We only had an hour. Mostly we had to take pictures of things. High fiving a random stranger, giving flowers to a random stranger, pumping someone's gas, a lolipop, a bowtie, a boat, a plane, public transportation, an ASU Sundevil, sampling frozen yogurt, bringing someone's food to their table, a new establishment, and 7 other things that I can't remember.

Nice work on the scavenger hunt! I would've failed miserably. I don't like to interact with other people.

Thanks, Joe. I didn't want to do a few of them, but my wife was not scared. She's brave.

Is the Arizona heat keeping you from running?

Rhett - pretty much. Last Saturday I played out in the pool with my kids for too long. I think I got heat stroke or something. I had a headache until Thursday. Immediately after the headache I caught what everyone else in the house has and now my lungs are congested again.

allie - e-nun-ci-ate .
